Three LeChase projects win ENR NY Regional Best Projects Awards

LeChase has been awarded three 2024 Regional Best Projects Awards from ENR New York. The publication conducts the Regional Best Projects competition each year. LeChase was recognized for the following:

The UR Medicine Orthopaedics and Physical Performance Center project received top honor in the healthcare category. LeChase partnered with architects SLAM and Perkins + Will to create the new space for UR Medicine. Built on the site of local shopping mall, the facility is one of the largest and most comprehensive orthopaedic surgery and outpatient care centers in the Northeastern U.S. It features a surgery center, procedure suite, advanced imaging center, patient clinic and a 58,000-SF Center for Human Athleticism and Musculoskeletal Performance Prevention.

The Strong National Museum of Play: Expansion, Renovations and Parking Structure project received the Best Project award in the sports and entertainment category. LeChase served as the construction manager on the multi-year project, partnering with The Strong, owner’s representative Cornerstone and CJS Architects to add fresh exhibits, updated amenities and more interactive play areas at the museum. This project was previously recognized with a 2024 Construction Risk Partners Build America Award from the Associated General Contractors of America.

The Victory Lofts Historic Renovation project received top honor in the renovation and restoration category. LeChase partnered with Paulus Development to transform the long-vacant factory into 156 upscale market-rate apartments, along with space for future retail. Today, units in the Victory Lofts offer modern amenities, while maintaining an industrial feel through features like concrete ceilings and exposed brick. This project also received a 2024 Construction Risk Partners Build America Award from the Associated General Contractors of America earlier this year.
