UB students tour field house project

What could be more interesting to civil engineering students than touring a construction project?  How about touring one on their own campus?

Recently, student members of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) from the University at Buffalo had a chance to see their school’s new field house, which LeChase is currently building.

“It was very cool to see the site and all the steel work,” noted Conor Blake, secretary of the school’s ASCE chapter. “I know the UB ASCE students on the tour greatly enjoyed the experience. It’s always nice to get out of the classroom and see a real word application to everything we’re learning, especially right on campus.”

Thanks to Superintendent Mike Mamoone and Project Engineer John Gianadda for taking time to host the students.
