On August 22, the LeChase team helped kick off the construction of the UR Medicine Brighter Days Pediatric Mental Health Urgent Care Center. This will be the area’s first-ever walk-in mental health crisis clinic for young people up to age 18, who can show up with no prior appointment to get immediate care. The project is a renovation of the existing first-floor R-wing which will include comforting spaces outside of an emergency room setting with a new building entrance and lobby. The scope also includes a number of improvements to the exterior site of the facility. The expected completion is early summer 2024. LeChase is the general contractor for the renovations.
