Once again, LeChase volunteers partnered with colleagues from Nixon Peabody to work at the CP Rochester residence home in Henrietta for the annual United Way Day of Caring in Rochester.
CP Rochester is an organization that aids in rehabilitation for individuals with Cerebral Palsy, and last year volunteers put in a sidewalk to enable residents to easily access the back of the property. This year, despite some rain, the team continued working on the outdoors. They weeded, added mulch and planted flowers in the existing beds, and added a new flower bed – with hostas and day lilies – next to the sidewalk. In addition, they gave the residence’s living/TV room a fresh coat of paint.
Thanks to all of our LeChase volunteers: Pam Spencer, Monica Stengel, Linda Vitale, Courtney Lafferty, Wayne McCullough, Liam McCullough, Jim Lobene and Al Cocquyt.
